Having trouble logging into your FDU NetID account?
To log in to your FDU NetID account, you need to enter your username and password.
Username Guidelines
If you can't remember your username, here are some tips:
- It must be between 4-8 characters
- There must begin with a letter
- It can contain only letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and underscore (_)
If, after trying again, you still can't log in, select “
Forgot your username?” and you'll need to answer the security questions you picked when you created your account.
Password
- 180 days password expiration for all accounts by default with some exceptions for restricted access to data that have 90 days password expiration
- 5 attempts before being locked out
Password Guidelines
If you can't remember your password, here are some tips:
- Password must be 8 to 16 characters
- Passwords are case sensitive
- Do not use all or part of your first or last name as part of the password
- You MUST have at least 1 UPPER CASE letter in the password
- You MUST have at least 1 lower case letter in the password
- You MUST have at least 1 NUMBER in the password
- You MUST have at least 1 SYMBOL in the password
If, after trying again, you still can't log in, select “
Forgot your password?” and we'll send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
More troubleshooting solutions when creating or logging in to your account
If you're having trouble logging in to your account on identity.fdu.edu, follow the steps below to see if this resolves the problem. If you still can't log in after completing the steps below, please contact us for help.

Restart your browser.
Close and restart your browser. This will resolve many log in issues.

Check to make sure that your browser is set to accept cookies.
To use identity.fdu.edu, you must have your browser set to accept cookies. For instructions on how to accept cookies in your browser, click on the “How do I set my browser to accept cookies?” question in the dropdown menu at the bottom of this page.

Delete your browser’s cache (history/memory).
